"You must stop spending (wasting) your thoughts, time
and money. Everything in life must be an investment. To spend is to waste, to
squander, to lay out without return. To invest is to lay out for the purpose
from which profit is expected." Neville Goddard
This is not to negate the shear joy and value of giving
without return, because all giving has a return, therefore it is not a waste.
However, this revelation is about how we are spending or investing each thought
in each moment.
It draws our focus into the very present, demanding that
each thought and feeling be an investment into the person you want to be and
the world you want to live in. Do not waste your time and energy on the
thoughts and feelings that create more of what you already have and wish was
otherwise. Do not waste your energy on on thoughts of scarcity, shame, grudges,
inadequacies, misunderstandings and fear. Instead invest every moment and each
thought in what you wish to be.
Remember that which you wish to be is already within you,
you simply must change your focus and invent your moments and thoughts in
it.
Neville reminds us: "The present moment is always right
for an investment."
Gandhi says: "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
