How To Dream Greatly:

 1. Believe

Believe you can. Believe you are worthy. Believe you are enough. Believe you are okay. Believe in yourself, your ideas, and your dreams. Believe that there are infinite possibilities available at all times.

Sometimes it is hard to believe. Our society has conditioned us to be practical; that only what our senses can tell us is real. Life sometimes kicks us around a little, gives us challenges, and disappointments. We begin to believe that what was has always been, and will be again; that the past equals the future.

But the past only is the past and does not predict or guarantee the future. We can change ourselves, our choices and our future.

Be proud of your dreams, and know that you don’t have to share them with everyone. Due to their own unrealized dreams, some people will scoff at yours. If they cannot believe in themselves or their own dreams, they will probably not believe in you and yours. It is okay to protect yourself and your dreams.

2. Focus

Meditate on your dreams. Not all meditations need be empty. Sometimes when you enter a calm, clear state, your dreams become even more real and the obstacles become smaller. It is in a state of meditation, that you have the most power, use it to bolster your belief and your strength to realize your dreams.

Write them down, review them, and think on them. Let your heart and mind work on them. Read books about your dreams. Talk to people who have realized their dreams, or have similar dreams to yours.  Watch movies about them. Write stories. Make them real in your heart and mind. Fill your world with belief, until there is no question, of course you can achieve your dreams. Aren’t you already nearly there?

Focus does not mean to fixate or worry. If you are perseverating to the point of anxiety, your energy and strength is depleted and your dreams are further from reality. Also, worry is the opposite of belief. When you truly believe, you do not worry that the outcome might not come to be. Release your dreams each day and night to God, to the Universe, to Infinite Possibilities.

Do not postpone your happiness today by waiting for your dreams to come true tomorrow. Unhappiness breeds more of the same. Be happy and contented on the path to your dreams. Happiness and Gratitude not only create more of the same, but they are energy givers, not takers, and will help you to make your dreams come true.

Believing and dreaming do not exclude working. Actually, it takes a great deal of work to believe in a change you want to see in yourself or your life and make it come true. It takes energy, preparation and work on your self to make real change in your world. Dreamers and believers work very hard!

The ancient philosopher Patanjali wrote:

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”
