How to choose in an infinite world

  1. Be Clear – If you already have an idea of what you want to choose, then you have to work on being very, very clear about it. What does it look like? What does it feel like? What does it smell, taste, and sound like? What would you look like with/in/on it? How would it change your life? How would you deal with it? How can you accommodate it? Include your family and friends in the picture. Make the images in your heart and mind as crystal clear as possible. Concentrate on the feelings, emotions, thoughts and actions you will engage in as it emerges into your life. But don’t try to work out all the details of how it comes into your life. If you concentrate on how, you may enter the past – your only reference for how something has happened before. It is okay to not know exactly how. Work on clearly knowing what.
If you don’t have an idea of what choices you want in your life and future, go back to the first key and work on Living on Purpose.

  1. Clear Away – Once you start creating a clear image of what you want to choose in an infinite world, you will come up against obstacles. Your mind will have objections, such as: But my spouse/children/family/boss won’t like it. How will I transition? I don’t deserve it. I don’t know enough. I am not strong enough. I am not  _______ enough (fill in the blank). How dare I think… That’s way too much. It’s impossible (with this objection, go back and read the other chapters on Infinite Possibilities).
You must work on clearing away all the objections within you heart and mind and make way for your choices and intentions to emerge. If you have physical obstacles, work on moving them to make way. This process may take awhile. Sometimes it is like peeling an onion, layer upon layer or obstacle upon obastcle   -- have kept you from the life you want to have.

  1. Remember who you are – We can’t address creating from a field of Infinite Possibilities until we embrace that we do and can create our world. If the world is all random; if somebody or something else in dictating our experience, then we are powerless to choose. But if we are creator beings, then we must fully embrace our power and take responsibility for our choices. When we know who we are, we can step back from worry about the outcome. We make a choice, we get very clear, we clear away the obstacles then we release in confidence. If we cling to the outcome, worrying and fretting about when and how it will emerge in our lives, then we are not remembering and embracing who we are. Release, Release, Release your intentions. Worrying only creates more obstacles.

  1. Have Patience – See previous chapter on Knowing and Believing.

One final note:

Intentions are the most powerful when released clearly into the field of Infinite Possibilities entering and exiting meditation. Also, when you are dozing off to sleep and just awakening in the morning, you should try releasing your intentions. When your awareness is still mingling with a deeper state of consciousness, your power is amplified.
