It's Hard to Live on Purpose

It takes time.
Living on purpose means finding and doing what you love to do. If you can do this for a living, you are blessed. But it may take time before you can support yourself and your family while doing what you love. This means you may have to continue in a job that is less than fulfilling while doing what you love on the side. Depending on what your purpose is, it may never be able to support you.

It’s hard.
Just because you found what living on purpose means, doesn’t suggest its going to be easy. No matter the task, job or mission, sometimes things are difficult, or impossible. Even if you live on purpose, you must still have strength of character and perseverance to see it through.

It’s not you.
Finding and living your purpose is still not you. Your identity is so much more than what you came here to do. You are not your mission on earth, you are not the creation. You are the creator. Keep your perspective.

Still, it is worth it.
Even if it takes a long time, even if it is extremely hard and even if you struggle with your ego to keep perspective, living on Purpose is worth it. If you have ever had the amazing high and sense of rightness that living on purpose gives you, you will know just how much it is worth it.
